Our Philosophy
We follow the values that have guided tribal communities for generations:
“To walk with dignity, knowledge, and wisdom; to live in harmony with the earth and everything on it; to acknowledge with thanks the Great Spirit.”
At St. Stephens Indian School, teaching and learning are our priorities. Students gain the academic skills needed to succeed in today’s world while exploring the art, language, and culture of their heritage. All students can achieve when supported in a positive and safe learning environment.

Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP)
St. Stephens Indian School has implemented the Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP) initiative – a digital learning portal with a blended learning approach. Our students can maximize this opportunity by accessing the digital learning portal with a 1:1 student-laptop usage ratio. This approach gives our students the advantage of integrated applications, and a robust learning strategy.
St. Stephens Indian School’s team of dedicated educators are committed to the growth and development of your children - tomorrow’s leaders.
